Predice Darnell Hendricks – Little River SC

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of, Predice Darnell Hendricks, June 23rd 2026, at the age of 59.

We take comfort in knowing that Predice is now reunited with his father, Carl Hendricks, along side his younger brother, Dante Hendricks.

Predice will be lovingly be remembered by his family, D’metri (eldest son), Mason (middle son), Elijah (youngest son), Josephine (Predice’s Mother), Didena (sister), and Carl Jr. (brother), along with the countless friends and family who he impacted over the course of his 59 years on this earth.

Predice was born and raised by his mother and father, Josephine Goodson and Carl Hendricks, in Newport News, Virginia. Predice had an unimaginable talent for many musical instruments, especially for the guitar. Throughout his life, Predice played music for countless bands through the years, as well as countless solo gigs, bringing joy to anyone who had the privilege of listening to him play. Predice even wrote some of his own original music, and invented a whole knew type of guitar known as the P.H.A.T System, the Predice Hendricks Acoustic Tremolo System. Music was one of the most important things in Predices’ life, it was how he expressed himself.

To many people, Predice Hendricks was the guy who could play the guitar very well, have great conversations with, about anything and everything, and most of all a hard working, and God fearing man. But to his son’s and immediate family, he was so so much more….

Predice was the kind of man who would tell people straight up what he was thinking, whether it offended you or not. He was the man his son’s looked up to. He was the man to reach out and talk to people, and as many people know, that man loved to talk. He was the man to get up on stage and play his heart out and sing Ozzy Osbourne’s Crazy Train, even if he wasn’t the best at singing, but he still did it and he had fun doing it.

There’s no exact amount of words to describe Predice, but those who knew him know the type of man he was.

Rest in heaven Predice, God knows you’ve earned it. Your sons D’metri, Mason and Elijah will carry on your legacy!
