Peggy Sue Bozeman Grainger, 66, of Whiteville, passed away during the morning hours of Tuesday, March 17, 2026, while in the Lower Cape Fear Angel House of Whiteville.
Peggy was born on March 1, 1960, daughter of the late William McKenzie Bozeman and Iris M. Littles Hood. She was also preceded by her sister, Glenda F. Bozeman.
Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Worthington Funeral Home, with Pastor Jody Griffin officiating.
The family will speak to friends prior to the service and following the service.
The surviving family includes a daughter, Christy Priest (Roy) of Whiteville; great-grandchildren, Nova Soles, Brantley Soles, Carson Soles; siblings, Anita Wyche (Neal) of Whiteville, Ronald Hyatt (Brenda) of Summerton; nephews & nieces, Jason Willets of Whiteville, Johnny Williams (Cindy) of Raleigh, Kelly Johnson (Les) of Raleigh, Anthony Ames (Kali) of Cohasset, MA; host of loving friends.
