Band of Oz draws 4,580 guests for the largest opening night ever
Oak Island, NC — Oak Island’s Parks & Recreation Department opened the 2026 Summer Concert Series on May 22 with a record crowd of 4,580 attendees. Vendors, musicians, first responders, staff, and concert goers filled Middleton Park for the season’s kickoff, marking the town’s largest concert turnout to date.
