A traffic stop on Old Cribbtown Road led to a DWI arrest Wednesday evening, according to both the incident and arrest reports. Deputies arrested Brandon Alexander Williams, 32, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, around 8:15 p.m. The detention report lists charges of driving while impaired and open container alcohol violation, each carrying a $10,000 secured bond.
An incident report from earlier that evening described a DWI investigation at the same location involving a man matching Williams’ age and physical description.
Williams was booked into the Columbus County Detention Center.
