LUMBERTON / BLADENBORO, N.C. — A Lumberton man with a lengthy record is facing a slate of felony charges across two counties after allegedly removing his state-mandated electronic monitoring device and carrying out residential break-ins.
Deputies with the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office served outstanding felony warrants originating from neighboring Bladen County on August 6. Investigators state the defendant intentionally tampered with and interfered with his ankle tracking hardware before committing residential break-ins and property damage.
