Public’s Assistance Requested to Find Christine Elizabeth McArdell, Known as “Blinky”
LELAND, NC — The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office is issuing an urgent appeal to the public for assistance in locating a missing person, Christine Elizabeth McArdell.
McArdell, who also goes by the nickname “Blinky,” is a resident of Leland. Detectives believe she may be in the areas of Bolton, East Arcadia, or Delco, as she is known to frequently visit these locations.
The 61-year-old was last seen driving a maroon 2016 Kia Optima. The vehicle is displaying North Carolina temporary registration WF38602.
Authorities are asking anyone with information regarding McArdell’s whereabouts, or who may have seen the maroon Kia Optima, to contact Detective Bell with the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office immediately at 910.713.3229. If you see Ms. McArdell, please call 911 or your local law enforcement agency.
