Lost Dog Located in Bolton; Owners Asked to Contact APS

BOLTON, NC — The Columbus County Sheriff’s Office Animal Protective Services is asking for the public’s help identifying the owner of a large, white male dog found on Green Swamp Road in Bolton.

The dog is currently being housed at Columbus County Sheriff’s Office Animal Protective Services, 288 Legion Drive, Whiteville, NC 28472, where staff report he is safe and being cared for while efforts continue to locate his family.

Anyone who recognizes the dog or has information about his owner is encouraged to contact APS at 910‑641‑3945 or animal.services@columbussheriff.com

Proof of ownership is required prior to release. Acceptable documentation includes photographs, veterinary records, or other identifying information.
