Canvasback Capital partners to present development opportunities at upcoming May 14 meeting

LELAND, NC — The Town of Leland Economic Development Committee is set to gather next week to discuss the region’s shifting investment landscape and upcoming municipal milestones. The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 14, at 6:00 p.m. at Leland Town Hall, located at 102 Town Hall Drive.

A primary highlight of the evening will be a presentation on Real Estate Investment and Development Opportunities led by Trey Echols and David Nelson. As partners of Canvasback Capital, LLC, Echols and Nelson are expected to provide insights into emerging market trends and potential growth sectors within the town.

Following the presentation, the committee will hold a discussion on the New Development Update, a recurring priority as the town manages its ongoing commercial and infrastructure expansion.

The agenda also lists several items under old and new business, including reviews of the recent Cold Storage Event and the Visit NC Special Meeting. Additionally, the committee will look ahead to two major summer events:
