Larry George Dew, 74, of Whiteville, passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at his home, surrounded by family.
Larry was born on February 13, 1952, son of the late Clayton Roe Dew and Pearl Marie Hughes Dew.
Funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at Worthington Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Pierce Cemetery, Hallsboro. Visitation will be from 10:00-10:45 a.m. prior to the service on Saturday.
The surviving family includes his wife of 38 years, Celia Marie Burchette Dew; children, Jewell Renee Dew (Shelly), Larry Dewayne Dew (Wendy), Christopher Allen Dew (Stephanie); sister, Elizabeth Ann Dew of Whiteville; six grandchildren, Christopher Dew (Gabrielle), Kayden Dew, Whitney Dew, Summer Britt, Hope Britt, Cameron Blackwell; six great-grandchildren, Zoie Dew, Camden Goins, Leah Goins, Haven Worthington, Dawson Jones, and Holden Britt.
