Judy Carolyn Boswell Nobles, 81, of Whiteville, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 23, 2026, in the Lower Cape Fear Angel House in Whiteville, NC.
Judy was born on February 23, 1944, daughter of the late Robert Lee Boswell and Zella Lee Godwin Boswell. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Joan Boswell Ward.

Judy was precious lady, whose joyful spirit overflowed into others when they were around her. She was a dedicated, hard worker; She served the City of Whiteville for 42 years as a tax collector, retiring in 2006.
To cherish her memory, Judy leaves behind her husband, Gene Allen Nobles of the home; five children, Robert Scott Lashley, Zebbie Lashley, Delana Gay White, Stephanie Nobles, and Gene “Al” Allen, II; grandchildren, Bridgett Lashley, Peyton Lashley, Nicole Gibson; great-grandchildren, Eliana and Deacon Gibson; siblings, Ricky Boswell and Tammy Hamilton.
