Born November 16, 1966 in Wilmington, North Carolina, and was the daughter of the late Marvin McKeithan and Regina Moore McKeithan. She was the devoted wife of Steven Glass, to whom she was married for 12 years. Jackie was a beloved mother to her son Adrien McKeithan of whom she was so proud, and a friend to many.
She was predeceased by late husband Lewis Ward; parents, Marvin and Regina McKeithan; and father-in-law Billy Glass.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Steven Glass; son, Adrien McKeithan; brother, Edward McKeithan; mother in law, Mary Glass; step-daughter, Brittany Weatherly and husband Josh Weatherly; step-son, Matthew Glass and wife Olivia Glass; grandchildren, Adie, Sadie, and JC Weatherly, Oliver, Marnie, and Lucas Glass; as well as many cousins and relatives she cherished.
Jackie graduated from South Brunswick High School, and attended East Carolina University where she earned a Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice. She was very proud of her work as a probation/parole officer, retiring after 30 years of service. She was a kind and loving Christian woman, who enjoyed camping with family and friends, trips to Disney, crafty hobbies such as barn quilting and finger crocheting, and a great cook! Jackie brought joy to so many people, and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at eleven o’clock in the morning at White Funeral and Cremation Service, Bolivia Chapel, 603 Ocean Highway East, Bolivia, North Carolina 28422. Burial will follow at David R. Mercer Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, family asks that donations may be made to Shriners Children’s, Attn: Shriners Children’s, PO Box 947765, Atlanta, Georgia 30394 in Jackie’s honor.
