Jack was born, November 29, 1956, in Greensboro, NC; son of the late, Jack Douglas Bryant, Sr and Creola Lucy Wall Bryant. Before moving to North Myrtle Beach, Jack spent a great deal of his life in Greer, SC and the surrounding areas. He was a proud employee of BMW manufacturing company where he worked for seventeen years before retiring in 2016. Jack was a member of the Society of Brunswick Shaggers in North Myrtle Beach. He was full of life and energy; stranger was a foreign word for him. Jack loved to make people laugh, and laugh they did.
Jack is survived by his significant other, Glenda Carter; daughters, Windy Sizemore (Steve) and Neely Bryant; son, Jack Bryant, III (Ellie); sister, Jane Bryant Lawson; grandchildren, Tyler, Carley, Stephen, Avary, Anna, Kobe, and Emma and great grandchildren, Cody, Bryant, Emmaline, Brycen, Myles, Darcie, and Elijah.
The family will receive friends, August 1, 2026, from 1:00 – 3:00 pm at White Funeral & Cremation Service, 4690 East Coast Lane, Shallotte, NC 28470.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in honor of Jack may be made to St. Jude, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, an organization that became very near and dear to his heart through this journey.
We would like to thank everyone at Lower Cape Fear Life Care Hospice center for their loving care.
“The book has been written and the covers are closed. It was a long, good book and we grieve for the living and not the dead. You know there has been a great rejoicing among our fathers in Heaven today.”
