Overnight outage affecting more than 2,000 members resolved after crews complete repairs.

Power has been fully restored following an overnight outage that left more than 2,000 Horry Electric Cooperative members without service in the area served by the Jones Road substation.
According to the cooperative, the outage occurred when a vehicle struck a guy wire. Crews began repairs once the vehicle was removed, restoring service a time afterward.
Horry Electric thanked its members for their patience as crews worked to safely complete the repairs.
