(UPDATE) Found Safe
Murrells Inlet, SC — The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Rusty Shockley, a 53‑year‑old Murrells Inlet man who has been reported missing and is considered endangered.
Family members told deputies that Shockley was last seen Thursday morning at his home on Murrells Inlet Road. He was wearing tan shorts and a green and black shirt at the time he was last observed.
Investigators say he may be traveling in his black Jeep Wrangler bearing South Carolina tag 753CBR.
Anyone with information regarding Shockley’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office at 843.546.5102
