RIEGELWOOD, NC — A free community health fair is coming to Riegelwood as part of American Heart Month, offering residents a wide range of screenings, education, and wellness resources at no cost.
The “Love Your Heart” Community Health Fair will be held Friday, February 20, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Ransom Community Center, located at 2694 General Howe Highway, Riegelwood.
The event is hosted by Columbus Regional Healthcare System and funded by the CRHS Foundation.
Organizers say the goal is to help community members take charge of their heart health through early detection, preventive education, and access to local health resources.
The fair will feature free blood pressure checks, A1C, cholesterol, and glucose screenings, and manual breast exams. Attendees can also learn about stroke prevention, heart‑healthy habits, and other wellness topics from on‑site educators and vendors.
This event will include giveaways, raffles, and multiple community partners sharing resources and information.
Residents of all ages are encouraged to stop by, take advantage of the free screenings, and learn more about maintaining a healthy heart.
