Weekly meal, blessing table, and Suds of Love laundry ministry set for May 22
Shallotte, NC — Camp United Methodist Church (CAMP UMC) will hold its weekly community outreach event on Friday, May 22, offering a free meal, a blessing table, and on‑site laundry assistance at 4807 Main Street in Shallotte.
The free meal will be served from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., with this week’s adult meal of stuffed pepper casserole, and corn or a vegetable dish. The children’s meal this Friday, include turkey sandwiches. All meals are prepared and served by volunteers, and the program is open to everyone in the community.
A blessing table will be set up with canned goods, extra meals, clothing, and eggs for anyone who needs them.
Suds of Love Laundry will operate earlier in the day from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with the last load accepted at 1:30 p.m. Laundry and hygiene products are provided at no cost.
Camp UMC continues to host these Friday outreach events as part of its mission to support local families and ensure neighbors have access to essential resources.
