Multi‑state recall issued after mislabeling discovered
FDA RECALL: Gellert Global Group has issued a recall for 8.1‑oz ALDI Brand Fusia Asian Inspirations Kimchi & Tofu Kimbap after confirming the product may contain undeclared tuna, posing a serious risk to consumers with fish allergies.

The recalled product was distributed to select Aldi stores across Connecticut, Washington DC, Delaware, Louisiana, Maryland, Maine, Massachusetts, North Carolina, New Hampshire, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Vermont, and West Virginia.
Packages are marked BEST IF USED BY OCT.08.2027 and sold in sealed, microwave‑safe plastic wrappers.
The company says the mislabeling resulted from a temporary breakdown in production and packaging procedures, which has since been corrected.
Consumers who purchased the affected product should return it to Aldi for a full refund. Questions may be directed to Gellert Global Group at 1.908.351.8000 (Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m.) or fsqaincidents@gellertglobalgroup.com
