Dense fog is reducing visibility to less than a quarter mile across portions of southeastern North Carolina.

Affected areas: Bladen, Columbus, Coastal and Inland Brunswick, Coastal and Inland New Hanover, and Coastal and Inland Pender counties through 8:00 a.m. this morning, Sunday March 1, 2026.

Significantly reduced visibility creates hazardous driving conditions, especially on rural roads, bridges, and low‑lying areas.

If traveing during this timel, slow down, use low‑beam headlights, and allow extra distance between your vehicle and the one ahead.
