Deborah Blackwell Zandy, 73, of Whiteville, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Angel House.
Deborah was born on January 6, 1953, daughter of the late Andrew “Ander” James Blackwell and Eva Mae Jones Blackwell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Leonard Zandy; her grandson, Collin Thomas Caines; siblings, James “Bankey” Alan Blackwell, Jr. and Teresa Blackwell Fountain
No services will be held at this time.
The surviving family includes her son, Christoper Franklin Caines; grandson, Jacob Christopher Caines.
