Four nights of sharing The Word with family‑friendly worship at Lake Waccamaw Methodist Church
LAKE WACCAMAW, NC — Lake Waccamaw Methodist Church is inviting the community to gather for a four‑night Revival March 1–4, offering a blend of Scripture‑centered messages, powerful worship, and dedicated children’s programming. The event will be held at the church’s campus at 506 Lakeshore Drive, with dinner served nightly at 5:15 p.m. and worship beginning at 6:30 p.m.
The Revival opens Sunday, March 1, with Rev. Andy Lambert, evangelist and founder of Isaac Ministries. Lambert, who will share the Word March 1–3, is known across the Eastern United States for leading revivals, youth conferences, and seminars that emphasize spiritual renewal and joyful discipleship.
On Wednesday, March 4, Rev. Kari Howard will bring the evening message. Howard serves as Associate Conference Superintendent for the North Carolina Global Methodist Church and is widely recognized for her leadership, pastoral presence, and testimony to God’s sustaining love. The final night of the Revival will include a special focus on healing.
Music will be a central part of the week
The Wilmington Celebration Choir, founded in 1997 by longtime director Joey Gore, will lead worship on opening night. The choir has traveled nationally, sharing a blend of traditional and contemporary worship music. From March 2–4, the musical group Willing Heart – comprised of Joey Gore, Laurie Kelly, and Gail Heath – will guide worship with Gospel favorites and original songs.
Children will have a revival experience of their own, led by Sherry Melvin, the church’s Children, Women, and Music Minister. Melvin will host a themed children’s revival each night for ages 5 through 5th grade. A nursery will be available for children ages 4 and under.
Church leaders emphasize that everyone is welcome, regardless of church background.
With nightly meals, multigenerational programming, and a lineup of respected speakers and musicians, the revival aims to offer a warm, accessible space for fellowship, reflection, and spiritual renewal.
The community is invited to attend all four nights.
