Claudia Faith Schupner – Carolina Shores NC

Claudia Faith Schupner, age 73, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, on June 9th, 2026.

Born on April 1, 1953 in Staten Island, New York — fittingly on April Fools’ Day — Claudia lived a life filled with laughter, love, and a playful spirit. She carried that lighthearted joy with her always and was known for her humor, silliness, and the effortless way she made others smile. Claudia truly never met a stranger. Through a warm conversation or a shared laugh, she had a gift for making everyone feel welcome and loved. Those who knew Claudia will remember her resilience, her warmth, her laughter, and the way she embraced life and others with an open heart. She was deeply loved, and the space she leaves in our hearts is immeasurable. She will be missed in a way words cannot fully express.

Claudia married her high school sweetheart and together they built a life rooted in devotion, tradition, and family. Their 54 years of marriage were a beautiful testament to enduring love, loyalty, and partnership. Her greatest blessings were her children. Being their mother was her proudest role and deepest joy. She often said, “I was put on this earth to be a mom — it’s all I know how to do.” Her love for her children was boundless and unwavering. Claudia’s strength, compassion, and steadfast devotion shaped the lives of her children and now live on in her grandchildren. Her legacy of love will carry forward for generations.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 54 years, Richard H. Schupner of Carolina Shores, NC; her loving son Ryan R. Schupner and his wife Virginie of New Windsor, NY; her beloved daughter Keri A. Little and her husband Tim of North Myrtle Beach, SC; and her cherished grandchildren, Emma, Avery, Reid, and Sullivan, who were the light of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ethel Mildred Upham and Roy Edward Upham.
