Local families looking for weekend plans can head to the soccer fields this month as Classical Charter Schools (CCS) of Southport Elementary prepares to host its annual Spring Fest. The event is scheduled for Saturday, April 25, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at 2260 Achievement Ave SE, off Sunset Harbor Road in Bolivia. Admission is free and open to the entire community.
This year’s festival serves a dual purpose, acting as both a community carnival and a platform for student achievement. Highlights include a K-8 Art Showcase and a Middle School Elective Showcase, allowing students to display projects and creative works completed throughout the academic year.
In addition to the student exhibits, attendees can enjoy: Games and activities for all ages, food and refreshments, featuring Kona Ice and a ton of outdoor fun at the school’s soccer field and indoor activities in the gym.
Organizers encourage neighbors and families to bring friends for a day of sun and local talent. Classical Charter Schools (CCS) of Southport is a tuition-free, open enrollment K-8 public charter school.
