CALABASH, NC — Brunswick Electric Membership Corporation says approximately 1,200 members in the Calabash area are without power Sunday morning following an unplanned outage. A BEMC crew has been dispatched to assess the situation and begin restoration work.
The cooperative notes that outage causes can range from equipment issues to weather‑related damage or accidental line contact. Restoration times vary depending on field assessments and the extent of repairs needed.
