County invites municipal leaders, service providers, and the public to discuss priorities for opioid settlement spending.
Bolivia, NC — Brunswick County Government will hold its annual meeting on the use of opioid settlement funds on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, in accordance with the North Carolina Memorandum of Agreement (NC MOA), which outlines how settlement dollars are allocated, used, and reported across the state.
The session is designed to gather community input on proposed uses of the funds and to strengthen collaboration among local governments, municipalities, and organizations working in substance use prevention, treatment, and recovery.
Municipal officials, individuals with lived experience, substance use professionals, and community organizations are encouraged to attend. The meeting is open to the public.
The meeting will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Virginia Williamson Event Center at the Odell Williamson Auditorium, 150 College Road NW, Bolivia.
