BELVILLE, NC — BCSO to close Belville Substation at 497 Old Waterford Way, Suite 200 on May 6 with services to continue at Bolivia, Calabash, and Ash offices as transition begins.
The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office announced that Wednesday, May 6 will be the final day of service at its Belville Substation, located inside Belville Town Hall. The closure marks a shift in how the agency allocates resources across Brunswick County.
While the Belville location is closing, BCSO emphasized that residents will continue to have access to full services at its other offices in Bolivia, Calabash, and Ash. Officials noted that these sites remain available for walk‑in assistance, administrative needs, and general support.
The Sheriff’s Office acknowledged that the change may cause some inconvenience for residents who relied on the Belville site. In its announcement, the agency thanked the community for its patience and understanding during the transition.
BCSO stated that its commitment to providing accessible, professional service to the citizens of Brunswick County remains unchanged.
