Calabash, NC — A Brunswick County man has been arrested and charged after a 4‑year‑old child allegedly ingested cocaine while in his care, according to information released through local authorities.
Timothy Carl Lee, 56 of Calabash was arrested on August 1 in connection with an incident reported on May 6, 2026. Investigators say the child consumed the controlled substance while under Lee’s supervision.
Lee is charged with one felony count of exposing a child to a controlled substance. He was booked into the Brunswick County Detention Facility under a $75,000 bond.
Lee is scheduled to appear before a judge on August 3.
