Bolivia, NC — Family, friends, faculty, and staff recently gathered to celebrate the Practical Nursing Class of 2026 at Brunswick Community College, honoring the dedication, perseverance, and compassion that led the graduates to this major milestone.

For more than four decades tracing back to the early nursing and cosmetology classes held in Southport before moving to the permanent main campus in October 1983, BCC has been a cornerstone for healthcare education in our region. Admission into the program remains highly competitive, and completing the rigorous curriculum requires profound resilience alongside countless hours of study and clinical experience.

Ranked as the second-best Practical Nursing program in North Carolina, these graduates have earned a remarkable achievement.
