The Brunswick County Board of Commissioners will hold its regular meeting at 6:00 p.m. Monday, March 16, 2026, in the Commissioners’ Chambers at the David R. Sandifer Administration Building in Bolivia.

Agenda items include resolutions tied to a $349.6 million school bond referendum, a $13.1 million federal grant for the Highway 87 Water Main Transmission Project with an additional $6.9 million in county funds, and a collective response opposing Fuquay‑Varina’s interbasin transfer request.
Commissioners will also consider a proposal for construction materials testing for the new Health and Human Services/EOC building, the purchase of 40 Lifepak cardiac monitors, and renewal of the county’s medical plan through NCHIP.
An appointment for Dana Page to the Nursing Home and Adult Care Home Community Advisory Board is also on the agenda.
Public comment will be taken at the start of the meeting. Public hearings, when scheduled, require speakers to sign up on the dedicated form at the door before the meeting begins. Anyone distributing documents to commissioners must provide eight copies to the clerk at least 15 minutes before the meeting.
