Experienced officers step into new roles to guide the department’s future
Brunswick County, NC — The Bolivia Fire Department has announced a series of leadership promotions, elevating seasoned personnel to guide the agency into its next chapter.
Department officials shared the news of the internal advancements, which highlight decades of combined service across both career and volunteer fire sectors:

Fire Chief: Captain Boutwell has been elevated to Fire Chief. With more than 30 years of experience in the fire service across career and volunteer departments, Boutwell steps into the top leadership role to steer the department’s continued growth and operations.

Captain: Lieutenant Rave has been promoted to the rank of Captain.

Captain: Safety Officer Cooper has also been promoted to the rank of Captain.
Department leadership noted that the newly promoted officers bring a wealth of specialized knowledge, time, and diverse experience gathered across various agencies, positioning the department for strong leadership and community service moving forward.
