Bobbie Claire White, 98, of Sunset Beach, NC passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2026.
Born in Brunswick County, NC on October 21, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Lacy Bennett and Madgelene Vaughn Bennett. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Jack White and a sister Dorothy Stern.
Prior to retirement she taught at Shallotte School, Waccamaw School and Union Elementary School, where she also served as an assistant principal.
Surviving is her son Kyle White (Lora); daughters Leanah Culbreth and Sarah Holleman (Bob); grandchildren Felicia White, Trey Holleman, Ryan Hewett (Jennifer) and Jake Hewett (Dori); great- grandchildren Haley Holleman, Brianna Holleman and Laney Hewett.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Monday, June 22, 2026, at 5:00pm in the Brunswick Funeral Shallotte Chapel.
