Mobile Pantry will not be running on April 3rd or 6th.
Brunswick County, NC — Brunswick Family Assistance is widening its outreach with a Mobile Satellite Office designed to meet residents where they are. The “Mobile Pantry on the Move” brings food assistance and support services into communities across Brunswick County, with regular stops scheduled each month.
In Ash, the mobile pantry visits Waccamaw School, 5901 Waccamaw School Rd NW, Ash, NC, every first Thursday from 9:30–11:30 a.m. In Supply, service is offered at Sharon United Methodist Church, 2030 Holden Beach Rd SW, Supply, NC, every second Thursday from 9:30–11:30 a.m.
Southport residents can access the pantry at Trinity United Methodist Church, 209 E Nash St, Southport, NC, every first Wednesday from 9:30–11:30 a.m. In Calabash, the mobile pantry sets up at Calabash Elks Lodge, 937 Carter Dr SW, Calabash, NC, every second Wednesday from 9:30–11:30 a.m.
In Shallotte, the pantry operates at Shallotte Treatment Center, 4437 Main St, Shallotte, NC, every fourth Thursday from 9:30–11:30 a.m.
For residents in and around Leland, BFA maintains a more frequent presence. The mobile pantry is available at Leland Community Park, 1490 Village Rd NE, Leland, NC, on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays from 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
BFA officials say the rotating schedule is intended to reduce transportation barriers and make it easier for families across the county to access food assistance and connect with staff closer to home.
