Seven students complete rigorous training for essential workforce roles

Bolivia, NC — Brunswick Community College (BCC) has recognized seven new graduates of its Electrical Line Worker Program, marking the completion of the program’s 11th cohort. The graduating class includes Nicholas Crews, David Dominguez, Ali Gundogam, Dominic Ovsak, Jaden Pole, Anthony Wervey, and Tyler West.

The program prepares students for one of the region’s most in‑demand skilled trades, combining classroom instruction with extensive field training, industry certifications, and safety preparation. During the ceremony, BCC leadership, instructors, and student speaker Tyler West emphasized the commitment and resilience required to complete the rigorous course.

College officials noted that graduates enter the workforce ready to contribute immediately to utility operations that keep communities connected and powered.

Brunswick Community College also acknowledged the continued support of Brunswick Electric Membership Corporation, a longstanding partner in helping students access training and career opportunities.
