Whiteville, NC — The Columbus County Transfer Station closed temporarily today from 10:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for emergency maintenance, according to county officials. Operations are expected to resume afterward.
The Solid Waste Department apologized for the inconvenience and thanked residents for their patience during the repair work.
