The Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina has released its April schedule of Pop‑Up Market food distributions, offering free fresh produce and pantry staples to neighbors across Columbus, Brunswick, and New Hanover counties.
All events are open to the public with no ID, income verification, or residency requirements, and community members may pick up for others if needed. These mobile markets continue to serve as a vital resource for families facing rising grocery costs, seniors on fixed incomes, and households experiencing temporary hardship.
The Food Bank confirmed that April marks the final month of Pop‑Up Market distributions at Cerro Gordo Baptist Church. After this month, the site will no longer host Food Bank–supported giveaways.
