Anna Bell Shingleton Griffin, 80, of Evergreen, died on Monday, February 2, 2026, at the Lower Cape Fear Angel House in Whiteville.
Anna was born on December 12, 1945, to the late Listen Shingleton and Zillah Jernigan Shingleton. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Griffin and two brothers, Raymond Shingelton and Joe Juliano.
Funeral service will be held at Worthington Funeral Home on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the Williamson Cemetery in Evergreen.
Visitation will be prior to the service in the chapel from 1:00-1:45 p.m.
The surviving family includes her children, Marion Williamson and Richard Williamson (Becky); grandchildren, Brandon Williamson (Jessica), Santia Williamson (Ashdon), and Jordan Williamson; great-grandchildren, Peyton Williamson, Mavrick Jones, Langston & Layton Nobles; brother, Michael Jernigan.
