Andrew “Andy” Ronald Ruby, 80, of Carolina Shores, NC died Thursday, February 12, 2026.
Andy was born in Scranton, PA on January 15, 1945, and was the son of the late Andrew Ruby and Lydia Rama Ruby.
He was a graduate of West Scranton High School and a United States Air Force veteran. Andy retired from the National Security Agency (NSA) as a Telecommunications Officer and was a member of the VFW.
Surviving is his niece Jordan Fox (Michael); his brother John Ruby (Joann); and his former sister-in-law Helen Santagelo (Jeff); and a great-nephew Jaxon Fox.
The family will receive friends from 3:00-4:00pm Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Brunswick Funeral Service Shallotte Chapel.
There will be no service at this time.
