Department expands home‑safety effort with free installations

Acme‑Delco‑Riegelwood Fire Rescue (ADR) is offering free smoke detectors and installation for local residents as part of its ongoing home‑safety initiative.
Volunteers will visit homes, install the detectors properly, and ensure each unit is functioning as intended. The program is available at no cost to the community, while supplies last.
Residents may schedule an installation by calling 910.655.3380 or visiting the station at 100 John Riegel Rd.
ADR encourages households not to wait until an emergency to discover they need a working detector.
