SHALLOTTE, NC — Brunswick County Health Services will relocate the Shallotte Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) office to the county’s EMS headquarters at 40 Naber Drive beginning Monday, April 20, 2026.
The new site will open for walk-ins at 1:00 p.m. on April 20. Regular hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. – resume Tuesday, April 21.
The current office at 150 Holden Beach Road will remain open through Thursday, April 16. Health Services is contacting clients to reschedule any appointments set for April 17 or April 20 to avoid service interruptions. For questions, call 910‑253‑2878.
Officials say the move shifts WIC services into an existing county-owned building, reducing long-term rental and utility costs.
The EMS headquarters is just off US‑17 near Main Street, past the Shell station at Main and Naber Drive and near Caliber Collision. Naber Drive sits behind Victory Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and The Ashley Store. Parking is available in front of the building.
Brunswick County WIC Offices are open every Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

WIC provides nutritious foods, breastfeeding support, nutrition education, and referrals for eligible women, infants, and children. Brunswick County operates WIC offices in Bolivia, Leland, and Shallotte.
