SOUTHPORT, NC — The City of Southport, in partnership with Up Your Arts and Cape Fear Radio, is bringing live music back to Franklin Square Park as the Southport Concert Series returns for the 2026 season.
The annual tradition once again invites residents and visitors to gather under the park’s canopy of oaks for free Thursday‑evening performances all summer long.
The series runs from Memorial Day through Labor Day, with concerts held Thursdays from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., weather permitting.
Guests are encouraged to bring picnic blankets, lawn chairs, and dancing shoes to enjoy a relaxed, family‑friendly atmosphere.
