A full car wash will be included at the Shallotte Royal Farms location, matching the company’s newer store designs.
Royal Farms’ standard wash menu typically includes Royal Foam Bath, Soft Touch, Wash Clear, Coat Sealer, and Spot‑Free Rinse.
Wash tiers range between $9.00 to $14.00, depending on the package.
Royal Farms markets itself as a 24/7 neighborhood convenience hub, offering far more than fuel. The company is widely known for its fresh, made‑to‑order food program, which has become a signature draw in every region it enters – Hand‑breaded, pressure‑cooked fried chicken, chicken tenders, breakfast sandwiches and platters, subs, wraps, and bowls – and of course, Royal Farms freshly brewed coffee around the clock, available 24 hours a day.
This fills a service gap along Ocean Highway West, where late‑night options remain limited. Once open, the Shallotte Royal Farms is expected to employ approximately 40 – 50 workers, based on the company’s standard staffing model for 24‑hour stores with food service and a car wash.
The Shallotte store is one of two Royal Farms locations under construction in Brunswick County. A second store at 8980 Old Georgetown Road in the Sunset Beach/Calabash area is also underway, with corporate materials indicating a soft opening later this year.
