Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office Seizes Methamphetamine and Paraphernalia During Josh Circle Search Warrant Execution

SUPPLY, NC — A targeted operation by the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office has resulted in the arrest of five individuals and the seizure of a significant quantity of illegal narcotics. The bust, which took place at a residence on Josh Circle in Supply, was the culmination of an investigation sparked by a series of ongoing complaints from local community members regarding suspicious activity in the neighborhood.

The Sheriff’s Office Vice/Narcotics Unit, supported by the agency’s SWAT Team, executed a search warrant at the property earlier this week. Upon entering the home, investigators discovered and seized approximately 19 grams of methamphetamine. Along with the narcotics, deputies recovered various items of drug paraphernalia commonly associated with the weighing, packaging, and consumption of controlled substances.

Three of the individuals arrested, Doris Bledsoe, Terry Simms, and Craig Dudley now face the most serious charges. Each has been charged with possession with intent to sell or deliver methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and maintaining a dwelling for the sale of controlled substances. This final charge indicates that authorities believe the Josh Circle residence was being used as a primary hub for drug distribution.

Two other individuals were also taken into custody during the raid. Carrie Barnes was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia, while Cheryl Alcala faces a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office expressed gratitude toward the residents who reported the activity, noting that community partnerships are vital to maintaining public safety. While five people are currently in custody, officials stated that the investigation remains ongoing and additional charges are expected as the evidence is processed. Anyone with further information regarding drug activity in the area is encouraged to contact the Sheriff’s Office directly.
