Jesse William “Bill” Price Jr., a dedicated and hardworking individual, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2025, in his hometown of Wilmington, NC. Born on December 2, 1949, he lived a fulfilling 76 years, leaving behind a legacy of integrity and commitment.
Bill received his bachelor’s degree from UNC Wilmington, followed by post-graduate education at NC State University. He spent many years working in Quality Control within the textile manufacturing industry, where he was known for his meticulous attention to detail and unwavering work ethic.
Bill had a passion for fishing, music, cooking, cars and watching football. He found his greatest joy spending time at Carolina Beach or High Rock Lake, where many happy memories were made.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Jesse William Price, Sr., and Mary (Byrd) Price, who instilled in him the values of hard work and perseverance that he carried throughout his life.
Bill is survived by his son, Jesse William “Billy” Price, III, and Billy’s wife, Blair, of Charleston, SC; his sister, Pamela Cullen; and his nephew Brett Cullen, both of Wilmington, NC. Their enduring love and support were a source of great joy and pride for Bill.
Funeral services will be private.
