Bradley Bell stands as a testament to what it means to be shaped by a community and to give back to it in return. Born and raised in Tabor City, Bell’s path has been defined by service, leadership, and a deep connection to the people and places that helped form him.

A 1998 graduate of South Columbus High School, Bell began contributing to local youth programs while attending Southeastern Community College, coaching football and baseball at Tabor City Middle School. His early involvement extended to flag football, umpiring, assisting with the Columbus County Dixie Boys Baseball Team, and teaching Sunday school at St. Paul Methodist Church.

Bell continued his education at North Carolina State University, where he served two seasons as a student manager for the Wolfpack baseball team and completed an internship with the Durham Bulls Baseball Club. After earning his degree in sports management, he launched his professional career with the Myrtle Beach Pelicans Baseball Club before becoming General Manager of a startup independent baseball team in Aiken, South Carolina — a chapter that introduced him to his wife, Amber.

In 2008, Bell joined Learfield Sports as part of Clemson University’s athletics multimedia rights team. Two years later, he returned home to join his family’s business, Bell Supply Company, now celebrating its 80th year of service to the region. Bell remains a proud full‑time member of the company’s leadership.

His dedication to community advancement continued in 2019 when he joined the Tabor City Committee of 100, where he now serves as membership chair, supporting local growth and economic development.

As the Greater Tabor City Chamber of Commerce hosts its 80th Annual Banquet, Bradley Bell’s lifelong commitment to service, leadership, and hometown pride reflects the very spirit the Chamber celebrates ~ a community strengthened by those who choose to invest in it.
