Police Warn Public as Armed Teen Sought in Loris Critical‑Injury Case

Loris, SC — Horry County Police Department is asking the public to stay alert as officers search for Jamarius O’Neil Brown, 19, who investigators want to question in connection with an early‑morning incident that left one person critically injured on Sunday, August 9.

The incident occurred on the 2900 block of Ino Drive in the Loris area of Horry County. Detectives say Brown is known to law enforcement and is currently considered armed and dangerous.

HCPD urges anyone who sees Brown to dial 9-1-1 immediately and not approach. Information related to the case can also be directed to the Horry County Police Department Criminal Investigations Division at 843.915.8477
