Dennis Legrand Jordan, born on August 28, 1963, in Conway, South Carolina, passed away peacefully at his residence on July 24, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Dennis was the son of Julius Legrand Jordan and Patricia Godbolt Stroud, who have both preceded him in death. He was also reunited with the love of his life, Donna Jean Jordan, who left this world too soon. Dennis and Donna’s love carried on for over 40 wonderful years; they were inseparable, sharing a love like no other.
Dennis leaves behind his treasured daughters, Tammy Milburn (Charles) and Jennifer Martin (Scotty). His grandchildren, Hailey Hardee, Connor Milburn, Hunter Martin, Madison Martin, and Austin Martin, were the light of his life, and he loved every minute spent with them. Dennis also leaves behind his precious fur baby, Teddy Bear, who will miss him dearly.
Dennis was a hardworking machinist at Napa Auto Parts for over two decades. Later in life, he embarked on a new adventure, founding Jordan’s Hauling LLC, where he took pride in driving his dump truck and serving his community.
In his free time, Dennis’s heart belonged to the river. Summer weekends were spent on the sandbar, swimming and dancing with his Donna Jean. You could always find them singing away to Purple Rain by Prince. Dennis was an avid Gamecock football fan; his Saturdays were spent cheering on his team with excitement.
Dennis’s memory will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew him – his laughter, generosity, and his unwavering love for his family and friends. He will be missed by many.
Services will be held on August 1, 2026, at 11 AM at Evergreen Freewill Baptist Church, located at 4070 US-501, Conway, SC.
