Myrtle Beach Man Arrested After Narcotics Found During Warrant Check

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC — On July 24, 2026, the Horry County Sheriff’s Office responded to a grocery store on Sea Mountain Highway in reference to an individual believed to have an outstanding bench warrant.

Deputies identified 38‑year‑old Blake Lashay Evans and took him into custody.

During a search, deputies located a bag containing multiple illegal substances;

  • 4.7 grams of oxycodone
  • 4.3 grams of hydrocodone
  • 2.1 grams of ecstasy
  • 2.5 grams of crack cocaine

Evans was charged with possession of narcotics, second offense, and possession of ecstasy, second offense.

All individuals named in this report are presumed innocent unless found guilty in a court of law.
