William Paris Lytle, Sr., 80, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, July 12, 2026, with his wife of 64 years by his side.
Known to family and friends as “Paris,” he graduated from Olympia High School in Columbia, South Carolina, and proudly served in the South Carolina Army National Guard. He went on to own and operate McClary and Lytle Publishing until his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thidas McClary Lytle; his mother, Irene Satterfield Lytle; and his son, William Paris Lytle, Jr.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Anne Barrentine Lytle; his sister, Linda Lytle Bennett; his son, Paris McClary Lytle, Sr. (Lisa); his daughter, Elizabeth Lytle Nutting (Michael); his grandchildren, Raeann Lytle Newsome (Will), Paris McClary Lytle, Jr. (Alyssa), Mikayla Paris Nutting, Autumn Savannah Lytle; his great-granddaughter, Sutton Amelia Lytle; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him. He now rests in peace with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Memorial Services will be held 2:00pm Friday, July 17, 2026 at Myrtle Beach Funeral Home, 4505 Hwy 17 Bypass South, Myrtle Beach, SC.
