The following is a summary of recent bookings at the Columbus County Detention Center, covering the period from July 10, 2026, through July 13, 2026. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Charges include: resisting a public officer, fictitious/false information to an officer, assault by pointing a gun, injury to personal property, simple assault, two counts of felony possession of a firearm by a felon ($200,000 total secured bond), felony assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury (no bond), felony interfering with an electronic monitoring device ($10,000 secured bond), and felony armed habitual felon (no bond). Awaiting trial.
