It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Sergii Marchuk who always was known as Roma , who departed this life on July 7 at the age of 57.
Sergii was born on February 20, 1969, in Khmelnytskyi, Ukraine. He built a life defined by hard work, generosity, and unwavering devotion to his family and friends.
In Ukraine, Sergii was a respected engineer and served as the General Manager of a Technology Service Center. After immigrating to the United States, he continued his strong work ethic as a valued member of the Walmart team. No matter where life took him, Sergii approached every job with dedication, integrity, and pride.
More than anything, Sergii loved spending time with those he cherished. Whether he was fishing, grilling a barbecue, or gathering with family and friends, he found joy in bringing people together. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, never hesitating to support someone in need. His kindness, generosity, and dependable nature touched countless lives.
Sergii is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Liudmyla; his beloved daughter, Yuliia; his cherished grandchildren; his mother, Lidia; and his father, Anatolii. His love for his family was immeasurable, and the memories they shared will remain in their hearts forever.
Those who knew Sergii will always remember his calm spirit and his favorite words of encouragement: “Don’t sweat about it.” He had a remarkable way of easing worries, making others smile, and reminding everyone to focus on what truly mattered.
Though our hearts are broken by his passing, we are deeply grateful for the years we shared with him. His legacy of love, generosity, strength, and compassion will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A Visitation for Sergii will be Tuesday, July 14, 2026 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Myrtle Beach Funeral Home – 4505 US Highway 17 Bypass South Myrtle Beach, SC
