Al was born October 3, 1947 son of the late Milo Albert Jones, Sr. and Maude Nix Jones Roll.
He is survived by his wife, Lillian Clayton – Jones; a son, Michael Lee Jones; a step-daughter, Kimberly Ison; a step-grandson, Cameron Ison; and a brother, Don Jones,
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, David Jones.
A celebration of his life will be held at 3:30 pm on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at Muirs Chapel United Methodist Church, 314 Muirs Chapel Rd, Greensboro, NC 27410. The family will have visitation from 1:30 to 3:00 pm at the church prior to the service.
